Welcome Little Emma and Happy Birthday Clark! Busy September...

Emma Lynn was born on September 25, 2015 weighing in at 7lbs 6ozs and 20 inches long.  She has a light sprinkling of brown hair and beautiful dark blue eyes.  We are so grateful she made it safe and healthy.  Both of us are doing great. It's always a little nerve wracking to go into a major surgery and to be aware of what's going on the whole time; yet, I wouldn't miss it for the world to see my sweet baby.  Doctor held her up over the blue screen for me to see her before she was taken to get cleaned up.  I got to listen to her sweet cries while Tyler stayed right by her side and got pictures.

Grandma and Grandpas Tonks stayed with Addison, Clark and Kaylee at our home and kept things going.  We are very grateful for that. The kids had their Primary Program which Tyler and I missed but I think the kids were just as excited to have G and G there.  Addison is a proud big sister and takes every chance she can to hold Emma or rub her little head and tell her how glad she is that she is here.

Kaylee's first meeting with "my baby" her phrase for Emma.  She and Tyler have playful arguments about whose baby Emma is.
Clark was a little more timid with Emma but kept saying how cute and little she was.

 Going home!
 Three sweet sisters...
I'm going to run out of time before kids get restless so I'll try to write it all now. Happy 5th Birthday Clark!  Clark loves the color green, Octonauts, Ninja Turtles, Huckle Cat, legos, and stuffed animals. He is a very active boy. He is growing taller all the time too! Clark also loves food!  He especially loves fruit and chocolate. :)  A boy after my own heart.  We had a mini party on Sunday while G and G Tonks were here and then had a bust birthday day on his actual birthday Sept 30. He had his well child check and everyone got flu shots.  That was exciting!

One of our first outings was to the park when Tyler was home. I couldn't have done it without him.

Our Sweet baby Emma... only 5 days old (Tyler's first time doing a nude photoshoot. ;)

After the Dr on Clark's birthday we went to Crown Burger and had dinner.  Clark's favorite food next to fruit is hamburgers! After crown burger we picked up Grandma W.  We are also very grateful to have here.  I was beat after Clark's full birthday day and she didn't let me lift a finger the next day and had me rest.  What a blessing to have such wonderful family!  Clark had a ninja turtle cake which he had a blast decorating with me.  We used three different sprinkles one for grass, one for a road, and one for rocks. The ninja turtles are just lego guys I got off amazon for pretty cheap considering how expensive legos are! It was a full wonderful birthday.  We love Clark so much.  He is so special to us. He is a good brother and plays wonderfully with Addison. We are working on playing nicely with Kaylee.  It's a little harder to play with a two year old. ;)

July and August highlights

July highlights:  Swim lessons.  Addison did four weeks worth.  Clark decided after some convincing he would try for the last 2 weeks and loved it! I already posted about Kaylee's birthday.  Tyler turned 30 this year! It's hard to believe we are actually aging.  Most of the time we still feel like we just got married.  I didn't get any pictures but we had a Whitworth family reunion in Bone, ID.  We all enjoyed it very much.  We camped and ate s'mores, played in the lake, played games and enjoyed talking around the campfire with family!  The kids also got to hang out with Uncle Joe and help him pick peas which they loved while Tyler and I went to a sealing for Tyler's cousin Ben.  We also had help from Tyler's parents a few times to try to get some more done on our basement remodel/update. Thank you! We now have plumbing, windows, electrical box and meter, new a/c and furnace and new egress windows in the basement (which involved digging the holes, cutting the concrete, cleaning up from that, getting the windows in, and doing the window wells. Now what to do with all the extra clay piled in our backyard... The basement is now plumbed for a bathroom and my washer and dryer are moved to a more convenient location.  It will be nice to have the whole basement finished but right now I'm just pleased with the progress made.  I didn't realize what all it would take doing so many of the things that we have. It's been a mess but it will be worth it when its done! :)

I wanted to try to do some extra special fun things this summer. Addison is heading into first grade on Monday August 24th.  She is nervous about it but I know she will do great! Some extra fun things we have done in August are: discovering a new park and getting to show Grandpa and Grandma Tonks it when they came for a visit.  Also we went to the recreation center to swim one time I just took Clark and Addison, the other time with G and G Tonks. We also went to see the minion movie with them.  That was a big fun full day!

I didn't get a lot of pictures from when my parents were here either but here's one! I haven't figured out how to put them on from email yet... I'm sure I could figure it out but I should be getting dinner ready the rest of the way. :)
Just this week we went to a splash pad nearby that is free. The kids all enjoyed it.  We went earlier in the summer too but Kaylee wouldn't get in.  This time with her baby in tow she was happy to get baby wet... She got wet a little too. ;)

The fun park at the splash pad that is almost as cool as the water part.

Kaylee's second birthday!

I can hardly believe Kaylee is 2, although she has started to act like it lately. She is very independent but happy most of the time. She still needs a good nap or she is a beast. :) currently we try to get one at the same time or I get beasty too. Kaylee is starting to learn her colors. Purple and blue are her favorites or at least the 2 she knows. We love her so much. She is so loving. She absolutely adores babies and I know she will be a great big sister soon! She was so excited to get her own "bike". I tried to correct her calling it a trike and I got corrected. :)

Summer has begun!

Summer has officially started for us. Addison is done with kindergarten. The pictures are on the computer not my phone anymore of her graduation along with pictures from the zoo with Kaylee... Maybe I'll get them on here some time... Maybe not... But tonight at the library we had the summer reading program kick off which is all about super hero's! The kids really enjoyed it. Addison is flower power super girl! Kaylee put a heart on her cape. Probably love you death super cutie and Clark is just Clark. ;) he doesn't like nick names of any kind. He can be so serious... Wonder where he gets that from... We came home and had ice cream. The others were in the tub and I caught Kaylee with her face in her bowl.  Addison and Clark spent almost a whole week with my parents which they absolutely loved! I think Kaylee really enjoyed the one on one time with daddy and mommy but you can bet she was sure excited to see them last night. She talked to Addison all the way home and Addison was a non stop chatter box. Clark's comment was " I miss grandma already." We are glad they had fun but are glad to have them home. We sure missed them (although the break was nice. I only did one load of laundry and only had to run the dishwasher every other day!) Kaylee and I had fun too. We went to the zoo and she had a blast grocery shopping with mom and dad's attention plus all the one on one play at home and being held for naps. Yep it was nice. :)
