W. Clark Whitworth

William Clark Whitworth (Clark) was born via C-Section yesterday afternoon at 4:32PM He's 8 lbs 1 oz and is 21 and a half inches long. Mom and baby are both doing great, here are some pictures.

Here he is about 5 minutes after he was born still has gunk on him.

Wide awake, he's been awake alot, when they pulled him out of Lydia, they held him up and he looked right at me and then started screaming - it was pretty scary

In the neonatal ICU getting all cleaned up and sporting a great hat

The hat was too much

I'll upload more pictures soon. Sorry I didn't get them up sooner, the internet here is funky, I tried last night, but it wouldn't let me.

Summer Fun

Sorry it's taken me so long to update the blog. We have been living in Sugar City now since the end of July. We were able to sell our trailer which made us both happy and sad. We have many wonderful memories from there as we grew together even more as a family. Tyler enjoyed the seven week break hanging out with Addison and me. As you can see we spent most of our time during those seven weeks at parks! We enjoyed having Hallie come play while Hilary and Kevin packed and moved to Utah. Those two sure are peas in a pod. They moved September 1st and Addison still asks where Hallie is. Addison is becoming a budding artist. She loves to sit and draw. She would rather draw then color a coloring page. She uses many mediums too. She loves pens, pencils, markers, crayons and has recently taken up sculpting with play dough as a new favorite. :) She will take a glob and pull it apart then squish it together again and show me and say "house" or "noodles" or some other such thing that she can think of. I love being home with her to teach and play with her. She is so sweet (most of the time)! Baby boy Whitworth will be here any day and we are excited to see his cute little body! Hopefully we will be quicker to post. :) He will be here for sure on October 7th if he doesn't come before do to my high blood pressure. We love you all and hope you are doing well.

Addison watering the flowers and lawn

Addison is enjoying discovering the hose. She has a great time until the water gets her when she swings the wrong way. She was helping me water the seeds we planted in the flower beds.

Addison enjoying her food!

Addison had a blast when I just let her have the bowl and spoon after making brownies! She tried to get it all off (just like her mom!) She also tried Otter pops which are okay except they are so darn cold :) and she loves pizza even with the pepperonis.

Some other new updates include Addison advancing to her toddler bed. She loves her big girl bed and has done pretty well going to sleep although she likes to kick the wall for a few minutes while falling asleep but all in all she does quite well with it. Also for those who haven't heard we are expecting again. Baby boy Whitworth is due October 14th. We are very excited and will let you know more as it comes. Pregnancy is going well. Tyler is half way through another semester and looking forward to being done sooner than later. He will have all his classes finished in December and then will have a job/internship with Church headquarters in Riverton, UT starting in January if all goes according to plan. We are excited for the opportunity it will afford him to learn from professionals in his field of interest.

Two Trips to the Zoo

We took two trips to the Idaho Falls zoo in May. One with some friends the Scholes and one with our preschool class. Hallie and Hilary were with us too! We had a blast looking at all the animals. Addison and Hallie even got to pet the baby goat at the petting zoo part. They thought that was strange... but fun.

Discovery

Addison discovered bugs the end of April. We had a nest of ladybugs in one of our flowerbeds and Addison had a ball holding them on her finger. She was amazed by them flying away too although once they were gone she got upset (shown in one of the pictures with her hand up to her face.) She now loves to look at all different kinds of bugs from spiders to ants.

Easter time

These are some of our favorite things that have happened over the last month or so. We like to go to the park and play with cousin Hallie. Addison loves blowing bubbles. (We usually don't make too big of a mess) Easter was fun. Addison loved hunting for Easter eggs. We practiced a lot around the house before the big day. We also colored Easter eggs at Grandma Tonks' house.
