I've been having a hard time this year getting into the spirit of Christmas this year. Tis the season to be jolly has been a lot harder to come by being sick, lack of sleep, laundry, cooking, cleaning etc... but I think it's finally coming around as I've tried to just enjoy doing things with the kids and focus on them and having fun rather than what needs to be done. We have made sugar cookies and fudge, delivered neighbor gifts, looked at Christmas lights, and driven around the beautiful temple (they have Jesus' birth story and beautiful paintings around) I know that the spirit of Christmas is really the love that comes from our father above. He sent His only begotten son as an infant to this earth knowing that Jesus would have to suffer for all of the rest of his imperfect children. Both our Father in heaven and our elder brother Jesus Christ loved us enough to do what needed to be done. I'm so grateful for that. Christmas isn't about the presents, the lights, the tree... The real magic of Christmas comes from a loving heavenly Father. Merry Christmas!

Leaves and painting
Clark, Kaylee and Addison playing in the leaves. Our tree is almost always the last one to lose its leaves but they dropped all at once this year.

The nutcracker
Here we are waiting for it to begin!
We went with Hilary, Hallie and two of their friends. It was so fun to have a mommy daughter date with Addison. She is growing up so fast and its fun to have actual conversations with her.
Afterwards... We were both tired but enjoyed it! Addison only said it was boring about 3 times. ;) I consider that a success!

Our in home photoshoot... None turned out just how I wanted them but they are fun pictures and there were only a few tears along the way. Addison and Clark bumped heads a couple times... not sure how...
Dog pile on Addison! She asked for it.

Are we done yet?

Dad, "Show me your teeth" I'm not sure Kaylee understood exactly what he wanted but she did listen.
tears from Emma...
Something else went wrong... Addison was over tired from a fun time at the nutcracker... Which hopefully I will post about tomorrow maybe...
